WESBANK = Terrible Customer Service

Every year Wesbank asks for proof of comprehensive insurance - and this year I sent evidence of mine on 4 seperate occasions; via email. I then get a threatening SMS informing me that Wesbank will be adding an additional amount to my monthly repayment for insurance purposes. And lo and behold, even after me sending all of the necessary documentation, they amended my credit agreement - without my consent!!!! - and deducted MORE THAN R1000 from my account. This is absolute nonsense - I want this fixed TODAY and I want my money refunded to me TODAY! I want someone from Wesbank to contact me ASAP - I am livid and I want an explanation! I work at FNB and will literally walk to the Wesbank building and demand to speak to whomever is in charge if I don't get results from this posting. I am extremely unhappy!!!!!!!

I want to thank the customer services representative from WesBank who promptly assisted me to get resolution to this matter. My money has been refunded and I was kept up to date on all aspects of progress regarding this issue. I'm impressed by the speed in which my query was resolved and for the friendliness of the agent who helped me. I trust that this will never occur again and that adequate controls are put in place to ensure that WesBank's processes function optimally and with zero inconvenience to their customers.
