WESBANK - SETTLELEMNT PAID- WHY IS ACCOUNT NOT CLOSED.

On the 24/2/2023 we sold our vehicle to WeBuyCars - Mpetsane Conservation Estate ( Pty) Ltd Acc No *** Nissan NP200. A settlement amount of R62282.18 was obtained from Wesbank - this amount was paid to Wesbank- hence the account was settled - full payment was made- and we expected a final account from Wesbank - detailing a nil balance and the Installment sale closed. No such thing- we still got emails and were told these were computer generated - sure they were- why were they not cancelled. Imagine our disgust when a debit order for R2916.19 went through on the 1st March 2023- after many emails to Wesbank we have now received a Service @Wesbank statement showing and outstanding amount due of R59410.49 - and an installment amount of R2916.19 On the 24.2 2023 WeBuyCars sent us a payment notification made out to Wesbank Vehicle And asset Finance FNB Receipt reference ***for R62282.18. Trace id FNBSP/51567. We need Wesbank to CLOSE THE ACCOUNT as at 24.2.2023..........REVERSE the amount of R2916.19 and PAY IT BACK INTO OUR ACCOUNT and send us a notification that this account was fully paid and closed on 24.2.2023.
