Wesbank registered ornament finance provider

On October 2022 I Purchased a vechile from an so called esteemed dealer in Pretoria the financing was done by Wesbank with all the bells and whistles shorty after not even a month I came to notice that one of the main components was faulty, the turbo was emitting a high pitched sound I proceeded to take the vechile to the local Ford gerage where I reside and after inspection they notified me that the turbo is indeed faultly and prone to break at any given time if driven for like that for an extended time I proceeded to contact Wesbank and was assigned to a Wesbank emplyee to that you can never get ahold of and almost never respond to emails, the representative sent me a set of rules to comply with while he conducted his so called investigation the rules imp**** that the vechile remained insured, I continue paying the monthly installment and the most redilouse of all that the vechile in question, my only means of transportation be subjected to minimal usage. After a year I haven't come any further in any shape or form getting assistance from Wesbank in this matter I have only used the vechile to drive from my house to work having to cancel my planned December vacation and refraining from any trip outside of town while paying monthly installment after monthly installment for a vechile I cant utilise completely to honour Wesbank terms. At this point and time MIOSA has ruled in my favour that the dealership in question replace the turbo the dealership just proceeded to ignore the ruling ive gone gone so far as to acquire assistance from a lawyer and have ford give a written report stating that the turbo needs to be replaced to avoid the chance of damaging the engin should it break only to be ignored by the dealership and Wesbank once more. Yesterday after being ignored for a month I decided to leave a complaint at Wesbanks complaint centre about the poor service and refusal to assist today I got the same response from a different Wesbank representative that I should continue to pay the monthly installments ,keep the vechile insured, and that after a year Im still expected to subject the vechile to minimal usage, only difference this time around is that now if the vehicle should be damaged ill be liable although ive I reported the problem a year ago.

Im livid what Wesbank basically told me is that they expect me to pay a vechile I cant utilise that they dont care financing vechiles for dealerships that will take no accountability if they sell a vechile to their clients thats not mechanically sound and that they dont care for their clientele aslong they get their money. As I read through the reviews left on here about Wesbank I realise now why I have been struggling to receive any help from them this past year and that my experience will probably not be any better in the future, but I will continue to fight Wesbank and the dealership If i knew what I know now I would have done my homework about Wesbank although this is my second vechile financed with them I will never get a vechile financed with them again and rather pay bit more with a bank like Absa but know they'd assist if something like this would happen

Good day Mr Sallie it is from you that I received an email earlier today this is by no means a small matter to me I dont know how Wesbank deem it normal for a client to pay installments on a vechile for a year and not even be able to utilise the vechile fully I refrained from going to review sites like Hello Peter in hopes that if I honour Wesbanks terms that the issue would be resolved but it seems that Wesbank only intention concerning this case is to get me to pay back the full amount and interest they financed my vechile for with out any regard to wether the vechile they financed is even in working condition ,I did respond to your email earlier requesting a way forward or returning the vechile Im still waiting on that response hoping not to get stringed along another year having to pay for something I cant use as intended

Leaving an update on my ongoing struggle with Wesbank.

They have been responding dillegently since ive left a review on Hello Peter which I guess is better than being Ignored, the agent assigned to me is conducting himself professionaly although Wesbank still refuses to assist in any way ignoring the consumer protection act completly like the dealership has been side stepping the ruling of the ombudsman to repair the turbo by stating they will repair the turbo if they can come fetch the vechile but refusing to give me any inclination to how long they will be busy with the vechile and refucing to have the vechile repaired at the Ford gerage where I reside knowing its my only form of transportation they are being spiteful in hopes I drop the case, Wesbank just state they are the only the financial provider and makes it clear that if the vechile should procure any damages because of the said turbo ill be the one liable for the damages and that I should subject the vechile to minimum usage to honour there so called terms but when I bought the vechile and signed contract I was sold a vechile that was sepposed to be mechanically sound they expect me to pay for a vechile that I may not use which is redicilous in accordance to the consumer protection act and rulling of the ombudsman the dealership is seposed to replace the turbo but they make it nearly impossible to agree to the terms they are willing to do so when I state then I want to return the vechile since the dealerships request is unreasonable Wesbank states that I can surrender the vechile and they will have it auctioned off to cover the outstanding money , im speechless never would I have entered into a contract with Wesbank have I known their utter disregard to their clients this bank is truly the worst if anyone can learn from my experience rather go with another bank to get your vechile financed cos Wesbank will leave you stranded expecting you to honour a contract that should of been voided since the asset that was financed was never in the condition stated in the contract Wesbank will drop their clients to make sure they get their money and inflation with no regard don't let them fool you thinking they care
