Wesbank refusing to refund my credit balance

I requested a settlement figure to settle the outstanding balance on my Nissan NP200. The last Nissan Finance (a Division of Wesbank) Monthly Statement showed that I had a credit of 8392.95. I requested the refund and only received my last debit-order payment back (which reduced the credit balance to 3381.02).

Since then, I have requested the final Nissan Finance Monthly Statement on numerous occasions to see the credit balance, but they say that the account is closed as the balance is zero, yet they cannot provide an answer as to what charges had been app**** to the 3381.02.

Now Elliot Mohale (your ''CSC Subject Matter Expert'') tells me that it is some kind of early settlement penalty, really? And he is now ignoring my emails too.

Dear Wesbank, I have NO documentation where I agreed to such a penalty. In addition, please refer to the NCA Clause 126 (1) wherein a consumer may settle a credit agreement ''without penalty''.

If you have app**** such a penalty you have committed an offence before the Law, for which there are serious penalties, and I am prepared to lay charges against your CFO if i have to.

Hello Patience Ramanugu. Thank you for your commitment to call me to ''personally be in touch'' to resolve the matter. The trick is to ACTUALLY call me and resolve the matter. Look, just admit that Wesbank broke the law and give me my refund and I will move along with my life. Wow, Wesbank must be in deep financial poo to want to hold onto 3381.02. Pathetic
