Wesbank - Refuses my Offer to pay account up to date with 2 months in advance payment

I was under financial strain after my divorce after which i app**** for debt review in Aug 2016. I was notified by wesbank that my car was 2 months behind on installments in Oct 2016. I advised them that i am in process of debt review , and they told me that my account was in arrears. I then proceeded to pay the monthly installments and start paying extra when I could.

In May 2017 i was informed that they coming to collect the car , I again made arrangements with the lawyers and kept on paying the installments every month. Every one was happy and I haven't heard anything from the lawyers or wesbank since.

I went to the wesbank web site and send them a message on contact us , updating my address and confirming the payment arrangements that was made and they only show you a confirmation screen that they have received your messaged.

In July 2017 , the Sherif showed up at my work with court order the repossess my vehicle and told me that there was summons issued in Mei 2016 already.

I have no idea they have summons me and so did not have to opportunity to defend my self or make armaments to settle to full outstanding amount. It was delivered to my old address and I have no foot to stand on..

Now they have added Legal fees of +/- R 10000 to my account + the arrears of R9000 = R19000.

I have offered to pay the outstanding amount , plus to pay 1or 2 month in advance (R30 000 in Total) , but they refused my offer and would rather self my car for nothing on a auction and come for the balance. Hoe to expect me to pay shortfall of R50 - R100g

How does that make sense or even logic ? I feel like I have been ****med out of my R300000 car over R9000 that I would have payed if they wesbank or the lawyers that had my email or cell number just made contact.
There response is just we want the full sentimental amount with legal fees.

How can they refuse my offer , I am willing to bring the account up to date and pay one month in advance ?

Accept my offer of R 30000 on the account. Arrears is +/- R 19000 of which R 10 000 is legal fees.
The account is the paid 2 months in advance and will continue to pay more that the agreed installment .
This is better solution that selling my car on Auction and you have no risk as the car is paid in advance.
