WESBANK NOT HELPING AFTER PURCHASE OF A DEFECTIVE MOTORCYCLE

Having the worst experiance with Wesbank and Harley Davidson Mzansi dealership. Wondering if I have any recourse? I bought a Harley-Davidson Rode Glide CVO from their Harley-Davidson Mzansi dealership, financed by WesBank on 25 August 2021. The bike has a defect - it switches off whilst I am riding it and it almost cost my life - twice. The dealership tried to fix the problem, on 3 occasions, even taking it to an 'expert' but the problem will not go away. I have requested that the contract be cancelled for a full refund or the bike be replaced with another one as I cannot risk my life any further, and today I was informed they cannot take the bike back because I put 10,000km in the four months I have owned the bike. I am being offered a R90k less as trade in value due to the mileage I put on the bike. As the defect and the attempts to fix it, the risk to my life, the inconvenience caused due to the bike being in their workshop for one and a half months over the period i have 'owned' the bike are all documented, I expected they would replace the bike at no additional financial costs to me.

WesBank have ignored my plea and continued to 'collect' despite me bringing this to their attention. I have continued to pay my premiums so that I am in good standing.
