WESBANK - NEVER AGAIN
Hello Peter, How many Wesbank employees does it take to collect R4000? None. They’re all useless. The service is **********. I have been trying to get a settlement letter for my car that was written off (by a drunk driver) since the 4th of July. Firstly, the account was paid up last year sometime. Months later, I received a letter/phone call/something in the covid hell we’re all living in, saying I owed a further R4000 odd, because I had missed a payment. Which I disputed, but no, I had “missed a payment” and I must pay. The account was on a debit order… so it seems THEY missed the payment. The account has since been handed over to legal. I am trying to keep my business afloat – Restauranteering these days is much like rock climbing. No safety net. No support. So our focus is on that rather than Wesbank and the R4000 right now. Fast forward to this accident. Outsurance asked if the car is financed. Answer – No. it’s paid up. I forgot about the R4000 “missed payment” in the chaos of lockdowns and pressure. All the paperwork is done and there’s ONE document left to submit, and (I didn’t know this either) Wesbank have it. Do you think ANYONE AT WESBANK CAN TRACK THE STUPID ACCOUNT? Do you think LEGAL knows what I’m talking about? Do you think there’s ANY F#$%$#@ record of this stupid damn account? I really need to swear here and it’s a public forum and decorum is required!!!!!! They found a record of a car we paid up in 2003! No record of the Kia Soul that we bought in 2012 or 2013 and paid until 2019 or 2020! Those details are forgotten by now. I have crisis after crisis to deal with. Not least of which is that I need to buy a car before the 29th July – TOMORROW – as the rental provided by Outsurance… which they graciously extended has to be returned. MY HUSBAND TOOK ILL AND DIED SUDDENLY THIS WEEK. From tomorrow I can’t get to work or do the daily buying and stuff I need to do. AND WESBANK!!!!... leave us holding the line for an hour each time either I, the claims handler at Outsurance, AND HIS SUPERIORS try to get a SETTLEMENT LETTER for R4000!!! So tomorrow, either I pay Avis R10000 security and extend the rental at my own expense at R240 per day, or I have no car. I HAVE NO MONEY FOR THIS. I NEEDED THIS SORTED THREE WEEKS AGO. BEFORE MY HUSBAND DIED. BEFORE THE LOAN CAR TIME EXPIRED. I HAVE NO SUPPORT. NO TRANSPORT AND THIS HUUUUUGE ORGANISATION DOESN’T HAVE A COOKING CLUE! I have left out the two names of the two people who gave us shocking service. I don't think Wesbank cares
