Wesbank misrepresented info to credit bureaus- **** about customers credit status
I bought two vehicles from Wesbank and one was written off due to an accident. I continued paying my installments after the accident. My insurance paid R102 000 and there was a shortfall of R36 000. Wesbank contacted me to make payment arrangements and I continued to pay and has never missed any of my payments. In May 2018, the same day the insurance paid the settlement Wesbank listed my account with the bureaus as overdue for 9 months without notifying me of their intention to list the outstanding balance as overdue although I am paying for it. I contacted the bank and they refused to remove the false "9 months overdue" from my name. The biggest problems 1) i am unable to even obtain a loan to pay wesbank as they ********ly blacklisted me on false presentations to the bureaus, 2) I am unable to apply for the job that i want as blacklisted people are seen as risk by other employers and my life has been ruined completely. My advise to fellow South African stay away from Wesbank.
