Wesbank legal fees
I have a serious misunderstanding of how Wesbank operates when it comes to billing. On the 5th March 2018 I made a direct payments to Wesbank of R4000 towards my vehicle, a week later I received court summons dated the 5th March (The same day the payment was made to Wesbank), on the 14th of March I made another payment of R3000 which then meant that I was not in arrears anymore. I kept on receiving my statement monthly which did not reflect any legal fees, instead showed that I was in advance in terms of my payment. I continued paying my installments as mandated by the statements I was receiving and by the 27th of April my statement recorded that I was R1406.21 in advance. To my surprise, I received another statement today which shows that I am in arrears of R3524,46 which were put on the statement on the 09th of May. I received my statement in April and there was no legal fees on there. So as a customer, I am wondering how I acquired legal fees when I was in advance, and if I acquired them earlier then why were they not put in my previous statements dating from March until end May. Furthermore why does the statement that refleet these "legal fees" Come in a different format than the monthly statement I usually receive. I feel Wesbank's dealing are not transparent to the customer and this is worrying me. And what makes it even more worse, the consultant who is allocated to my account can not even begin to explain to me how it happened.
Very frustrated client.
