Wesbank *******ly Deducted Life Insurance Policy Premiums from my bank Account through Car Repayments

<p>I financed a vehicle through Wesbank from February 2015. In August 2015, Wesbank added a Hollard Group Life Insurance Policy premium to my monthly vehicle repayments without my knowledge and started deducting R368 every month from my bank account. </p> <p>I never asked for a Hollard Life Insurance policy cover from Wesbank. I just signed a vehicle financing agreement with their agent on the floor of Lazarus Landrover Dealership in Centurion, and she never offered the Hollard Group Life Insurance policy to me on the day I signed the vehicle financing agreement. Even if she had offered, I would not have accepted the offer because I already have a Life Insurance Policy with Liberty Life.</p> <p>How was it possible for Wesbank to add a Hollard Insurance Life Policy cover to my vehicle finance agreement afterwards (six months after I had already signed the vehicle financing agreement), and then start deducting premiums from my bank account without my knowledge?? This is *******, ********, unprofessional and *********! It is also scary to realise that a respectable and reputable financial Services Institution like Wesbank can conduct such an ******* and ******** act against a member of the public and get away with it. </p>
