Wesbank - How can we NOT help our customers!

I am going on Maternity leave next year and I thought I'd give Wesbank a heads-up and also find out what the policy is around maternity leave etc.

Wesbank offers NO half payments, NO payment breaks, oh and they dont care they want their money on the date every month. Irrespective if you are unpaid during that time - they dont care.. So i decided to approach my father to ask him if he could cover this expense for me so that I dont have this stress during the time I'm not working. I approached Wesbank to ask whether my father (who lives on the same property as me) can have the debt order on his bank for the 4 months (the debt order date is the same as his pay day but he is Nedbank and I am FNB which is a problem). He was willing to sign any documentation needed to agree to this and provide bank statements to prove income. WESBANK STILL REFUSE THIS.

So tell me - if I am not getting paid, have no guarantee when UIF will pay me out, have a family member who is willing to provide documentation and proof that he can pay for it for the 4 months, and is on the same property as myself and the vehicle, but STILL Wesbank is refusing this solution YET Wesbank is offering NO ****ING ASSISTANCE during my maternity leave - HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO MAKE SURE THE PAYMENTS ARE ON TIME ?????????!!!!!!!

I have always been an FNB customer and really believed that they would be ones to understand and assist their customers that have these kinds of situations. Wesbank who is part of FNB is not ones to assist you in times you need it.

No wonder there are so many people that cars gets repossessed by Wesbank - because when you ask them to give you a solution - they couldn't care less what your situation is.

YET banks like Standard Bank and MFC - offer solutions during maternity leave - I cant wait for this vehicle to be paid- i will not ever take finance with them again. They are pathetic! Especially when it comes to understanding customers needs.

I will never allow Wesbank to finance any vehicle of mine ever again!
