Wesbank Harresment

My wife sold her car just before the middle of September 2014. The Institute we she sold the car to requested a settlement amount from Wesbank together with the debit amount that is due by the 15th of that month. The account number in question is ********** 4747. The amount was paid in full by the institute together with the debit order amount still due. Thereafter the debit order went off my wife’s account and my wife returned the debit order as the institute already paid the amount. After a year Wesbank contacted my wife and claimed she still owes them a month’s payment. Their records wrongly refer to a payment for August 2014 which were returned (which was actually the debit order returned in September) which has already been paid together with the settlement amount that was requested (which also was long after August’s debit order anyway). She forwarded all the necessary proof of payment documents through to them but still they persist she owes them that amount with interest and they are going to escalate the issue to their legal department, which they did. A legal firm named Norman Bisset and associates is contacting us daily for almost a year now and after a lot of frustrating calls I got a contact number and email address. I then sent all the proof of payment documents through to them (Ms. Daniels) at ********** after explaining the situation and received a reference no. ********** 9. The consultants and their legal departments clearly don't bother to investigate the matter in full just states the amount is due and is still harassing me and my wife. This outstanding amount is of course taking interest which is not for her account but is a mistake from Wesbank's side. This is very frustrating and we feel harassed. Please give this your utmost attention.
