Wesbank, First Rand (FNB) - Incompetence reigns

On 22 March 2016. I sent an email clearly stating that I wish to CANCEL, vehicle shortfall cover: " Please cancel the short fall cover when the application is processed." I received a response via email, a shocking, 7 days! later: "Your enquiry has been forwarded to the Finance and Insurance Representative at the dealership." I expect Wesbank to follow through and cancel the vehicle shortfall cover, surely this is a simple request that is easy to understand??? On 17 April 2016, I received a statement and I sent an email asking why this had not been done and why it was not followed up by Wesbank???? My request has been blatantly ignored by Wesbank customer service and I demand an apology and want to know how Wesbank will make this right. Today, 1 May 2016, more than a month later!!! I was debited for the full vehicle shortfall cover, which I had asked to be cancelled. This has been a frustrating experience and I will not do business with Wesbank again. I will also be cancelling my bank accounts with First National Bank, it is clear that incompetence reigns at Wesbank, First Rand (FNB).
