wesbank fails to deregister **********ly bought vehicle
a ********* managed to obtain finance from wesbank using my profile on 14 September 2017 and i only discovered that on 30 October 2017 after a debit order went from my bank account. the matter was reported to Wesbank on the 2nd of November and i was sent an email that i should make a sworn affidavit, which procedure i completed the same day. i was assured that the vehicle that the vehicle would be de-registered from my name and the ITC cleared. When i went to renew the license of my vehicle on 24 November i was told that i could not have the disc because the **********ly purchased vehicle was blocking the process. i then reverted to Wesbank and was told that the matter had been referred to a certain Rainjin but unfortunately she was on leave. A certain Phillip Mamabolo from the same unit took over the matter on the 4th of December and he told me that he would resolve the matter in 5 days. i made continuous calls to Phillip and he told me that the matter was handled by the banks enatis division and to date, 21 December 2017 the vehicle is still to be de-registered from my name. i had made plans to travel with my family for the Christmas holidays and i dont see it happening because my car is not licensed.
