Wesbank dont have customers at heart.
Last night my wife received a letter from Wesbank saying that the car they repossessed last month which is a 2011 Opel Astra is valued at R30 000, which on the same month when we took it for evaluation it was valued at R+-90 000

Its clear that this guys wants to rip her as the car is still in a good condition and low mileage and since they took it to store it somewhere they also want her to pay the storage cost which is unfair. So rather they bring back the car so we can sell it ourselves and get that +-R90 000 and give it to them and we pay the shortfall rather than rip us off.

If you could hear the good that most people say about this guys you would swear they are the best in financing business but they are pathetic and unprofessional. As at first they should have understood why she couldn't pay as she was on unpaid maternity leave for 3 months and now she's back at work.

West bank are pathetic guys, be warned.
Thank you for your concerns highlighted allowing us to clarify the matter at hand. The vehicles condition, mileage and performance are factors taken into account when a valuation is conducted. However when the vehicle is actually sold at the auction, the Bank attempts to sell the asset at the best possible price, to the highest bidder, in order to recover our losses.
We trust that you understand the Bank's position in this regard.
Kind regards
WesBank
