Wesbank doesn't assist......
Due to covid we have fallen behind on our car installments. I see social media where Wesbank says they want to negotiate with their clients so they dont have to repossess their cars. I contacted them and I got an email from one of their staff saying that I should never contact them again. So how would a person negotiate? On top of that you are in arrears and now they tell you to pay the arrears and the installment. If you could do that why would you call them? To top it all they send out agents that present themselves as they are from Wesbank and try and coherse you into handing over your car without a court order or delivered by a sheriff. They are using tracking devices to find your car and harrass you at the mall and your office not once but twice on Friday at the mall whilst sick and getting medicine and again on Monday at the office, two different agents both saying they are working at Wesbank when you know they are not. Perhaps they should talk to their clients and they would get a better response and not send out emails telling clients to never contact them again. I am confused how you would ever negotiate with them if you cant contact them A and B if they are unreasonable with their demands on paying the arrears without assistance. If you can avoid them at all costs, rather use another bank for finance. I am so disgusted I was never offered any assistance with a payment holiday because at the time they offered it April to June I didn't need it. I was only affected from November as a working industry on level 1. I didn't need their help in April May or June I needed it in November or December but because I didn't need it in April to June I dont get any help. What a joke. Because of all their incompetence I have app**** for debt counseling for assistance and they still harrass me with their car collection agents. When will they stop? What must person do?
