Wesbank - Disgusted at lack of interest of poor service
On Monday 28 September 2020 I called Wesbank client services to request that Natis documents be re-printed - I need these urgently as I never changed the deed of my car into my name - I need to then t de-register the car so I can can submit an insurance claim as the car was ******. I relayed all this info to the person at the call center and emphasized how important it is I get it done as fast as possible as I rely on my car for work. I was told it would cost R440 and further instructions would follow
I received an email with the account details for payment as well as details of how long it would take, 7-10 working days was stated in the email on the28th of September. I immediately did the payment and sent the POP to the provided *** email. I sent a separate email containing all the required details for delivery. I received no response that day.
I called the next day as I wanted to confirm that all was in order and they had received the payment and other info - I was told that the turn around time for attending to emails is 3 days. Since the initial email said the total time for this letter is 7-10 working days then I'm assuming this is already added into the time.
I called Thursday again as 3 days had passed - I have still not received a response by this time. The person that assisted me was absolutely useless - he didnt listen to anything I said and kept asking me to explain details - after explaining....that exact detail. I eventually ended the call as it was clearly a waiste of not only my time, but my money as well Thursday evening I finally received a response to my email I sent - However, the response had nothing to do with the conversation that I initiated. The mail instructed me to follow the instructions in the email and pay for the documents - There was no effort made to read what my email said, I doubt it was even opened and since emails from wesbank are all written by 'customer service center' im assuming this happens often - I hope you can pick up on my sarcasm here. Skip to today. Monday 5 October - 7 days after my initial request and payment - Still no confirmation, still no response, still no documents. I call again - Wait the 10 odd minutes to be assisted. This time I speak to a lady named Lauren padiachey who very eagerly want to assist me and sort out the problem - she requests that i send the info to her personal wesbank email (why was this not the case with other operators) - I send the email, asking that she confirms receipt, that it be escalated and that I get my letter in the promised time - Guess what, NO RESPONSE....YET AGAIN
Wesbank, you have 3 days to get this letter to me. Sort yourself out, this is disgusting service from a bank Train your staff.
I will make sure I have a well worded and strong letter on every social media platform and website to my disposal, on Wednesday Evening (7 october) if I do not have this document then. I will make sure your lack of interest in clients as well as your terrible service is broadcasted to a very large audience
