Wesbank did not debit on the day they were supposed to.

My monthly debits go off on the 5th of every month, on the 5th of January 2024 Wesbank put through a debit on my First National Bank account, but according to FNB they did not activate it on that day. on the 5th there was sufficient funds for this debit, even the next day, but according to FNB they only initialized it on the 15th of January 2024 and at that time there was not enough funds in my account and the debit returned thus creating an unpaid fee etc. Wesbank says that FNB returned debit on the 5th due to not enough funds, FNB says there was enough funds and the responsibility in on the service provider. I'm requesting an explanation for this matter but Wesbank is saying they have a tracker that looks for the funds over 10 days, but the money was there on the 5th, and if there wasn't it, why didnt it return then? I am very disappointed with Wesbank as this now reflects on my credit score!
