Wesbank customer services dwindles

I am all for companies doing what they can to keep employees safe during this time however Wesbank needs to relook at their agents and their tasks. I called in, to change my debit order date, I had no option to speak to an agent, so I went the self-help route.

It was such a great process and I was so impressed by the service. I receive a call from Wesbank but instead of speaking to the person whom called me, I am asked to leave a message, I was not sure what type of message I was expected to leave since Wesbank called me.

Following that odd call, I received a SMS to say Wesbank tried but failed to contact me so I must call the customer care number, which I did and I am faced with the same options as per my first call. Again, there were no options to speak to an agent while the options are played out, my airtime is also running out. Then I called the number that I received a call from, attempt 1 no answer, attempt 2 wow someone answers, whom asks me a few questions and tries to redirect my call, while I am on hold the call cuts.

Having explained the amount of time that was wasted to merely change a debit order date I would like to ask Wesbank, is this how you will be treating clients going forward? Especially loyal clients that do not miss payments even during this time?

If you have self help and need to verify something do not ask the customer to contact you after you directed the customer to self help, get agents to follow through with their tasks.

Your service is dwindling fast.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS: I will be expecting a call from Wesbank to finalize what needs to be finalize for my debit order date change.
