Wesbank Covid relief or rather lack thereof. Zero Service, Zero reply to emails not even to mention the incompetence of the call centre
I am extremely annoyed and frustrated with Wesbank.
I have been up and down phoning and emailing since 16 April 2020. Received an email on the 21st of April with the addedum which I sent back and then received a mail stating that the payment relief had been approved for 3 months namely April, May & June.
All of this only to realise that it had never been done, I am in arrears and debit orders have been returned unpaid.
Phoned Wesbank again on the 16th where the consultant assured me that she will rectify the mistake and send me a mail after the 21st with all the necessary corrections, it is already the 22nd of the following month and I am still waiting.
After not receiving a statement for the month of July I decided to log into the website to check what is going on only to find out that I am in arrears, being charged interest for being in arrears and that I am being charged for a whole lot of other 'services' and and and. Please give me an explanation for the following interest amounts that have been charged to my account. Your consultants that I spoke to, could not do it, they just kept passing me around from one department to the other. Arrears Interest – May 2020 – R64.72 (total) Arrears Interest – June 2020 – R70.24 (Total) – I had a payment holiday, how do I get charged with ARREARS INTEREST AND Normal interest? Interest – March – 2745.18 + 137.22 Interest April – 2906.56 + 145.29 Interest May – 2786.04 + 139.26 + Interest June – 2850.86 + 142.51 + 69.38 NCA Service fee – R69.00 per month? PS: CHECK THE RECORDINGS FOR 22 JULY 2020, IF YOU DON’T BELIEVE THAT YOUR CONSULTANTS CANNOT ANSWER THE QUESTIONS.
