Thank you for raising your concerns and granting us an opportunity to investigate and respond.
Due to financial strain, it has become apparent to us that customers have been cancelling their comprehensive insurance, hence WesBank in partnership with Direct Axis commenced a campaign to request updated insurance confirmation from our customers. Direct Axis is a specialist financial services company that provides customers with a direct connection to loans and insurance and they are a sister company to WesBank. There is a Non-Disclosure agreement in place that prohibits Direct Axis from using any of our data for anything else other than contacting our customers for proof of insurance. The requested insurance information may be sent directly to WesBank and we have forwarded e-mail communication to our account holder in order to explain the process and await the insurance confirmation in order to update the system.
We wish to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Yours faithfully,
WesBank
