Wesbank & Colserve *********
I lost my job end of Jan 2022 and despite efforts to find another job, could no longer afford the instalment due on the car. I contacted a dealer in Randburg and made arrangements for valuation on 11 May. On 10 May I was accosted by an unknown man who followed me to my house and kept knocking at the gate demanding that I open, he then informed me that he was there to repossess the car. I informed him of the arrangements I had already made but he forced me to get the car assessed on the 10th saying he'd take the car if I didn't. On 13 May the dealer gave me a deal that resulted in a R10k shortfall. The car was delivered to the dealer and Offer to Purchase submitted to Tumi Dreyer from Colserve, no communication was received from him and I followed up with him and Wesbank on numerous occasions. Wesbank and its agent Colserve have frustrated the process in every way from not responding to emails to repeated rejecting docs sent by the dealer. This has resulted in the dealer cancelling the deal on 31 May and Neheng Mokoena has been communicating with the dealer I also feel that she was and is not willing to assist.
I am disappointed in the service Wesbank/Colserve has rendered, it seems that they are unwilling to accept a deal that would result in me owing them 10K.
This process could've been finalized within 5 business days but clearly the intention is to repossess, auction at a lower price to their friends and leave me accountable for whatever shortfall.
It is ********* and grossly unfair. To even allocate a repo agent as if I had not been communicating about my circumstances or was unwilling to surrender the car shows the kind of values Wesbank/Colserve has.
