WesBank cares more for the deal than the customer.

WESBANK seems to only care about the money they get from deals and not the customers interest. My experience has been terrible, and I believe there is more care for the dealerships that the paying customer. I purchased a vehicle from "Fouche Motors" (dealership I don’t recommend by the way), a G350 Mercedes for over a million Rands. First, I did not receive the registration for this vehicle for this vehicle for over 3 months. WESBANK did very little to help in this regard. Only later I learned I was sold a vehicle that was still under finance by another individual and not belonging to the dealership. I had to wait for the vehicle to be settled and then get a new registration. Am not sure why the dealerships are allowed to get away with such things. Nevertheless, the vehicle itself has had several technical and mechanical issues. First one occurred just under a week of purchasing the vehicle. Luckily the repairs were covered under warranty and Mercedes fixed the problem. This took a week and I was without the vehicle for over one week. Then similar problems reoccurred less than 3 weeks after receiving the vehicle. Again, Mercedes fixed it and I was without the vehicle for some time. Last week, new problems have developed with the vehicle and this time, Mercedes is lost as to the cause of the problems. It’s been 5 days now and they still claim to have no idea what the problem is. I have made a complaint immediately to the dealership which was ignored. I immediately complained to WESBANK and indicated that I will like this deal cancelled as its still less than 4 months since purchase. It’s been 7 days + since my complaint and no one from WESBANK has contacted me. I have called in twice to enquire about my complaint and each time, I have been phone calls or emails which I have received none. The dealership continues to ignore me, WESBANK isn’t attending to the matter and the car is still at the workshop. I am paying so much for this vehicle and it is spending more time at the workshop than a small cheap car. WESBANK keeps debiting their monthly payments and that is all they care about. If they think I will keep this vehicle and keep paying them, they have it wrong. I will not be stuck with a melon while paying so much monthly.

UPDATE 05/09/2019: Still no contact from WESBANK to take my complaint. The dealership still hasn't responded to my queries and calls. Meanwhile the vehicle is still at the Mercedes Workshop and they still have no idea what is wrong with the vehicle. I have totally lost faith in WESBANK and their process, i will have to further this matter in my own capacity. Only acceptable result now is to cancel this deal and return the vehicle to the dealership. This will also definitely be the end of my relationship with WESBANK. They have more important customers and am sure they won't mind. Save yourself a lot of hassle, finance your vehicles with another institution and DO NOT purchase from "Fouche Motors".

UPDATE 18/05/2019: A representative of the bank Albert Laubscher has been very active in assisting with this matter. It was difficult to get the banks attention on this matter but once they assigned Albert to the case, he has been most helpful. I will rate him a 9.5/10 which is more than i ever rated anyone or business. I only regret that one has to go to lengths to get the Wesbank attention.

UPDATE 20/10/2019: This matter is still very pending. Albert has suddenly disappeared and no one else copied in the dispute has been helpful. I am forced now to take legal action that will cost money. Maybe defaulting on one payment will also get WESBANK'S attention.
