Vehicle purchase delayed due to unbelievable "reasons" supp**** by individuals

Wesbank seem to be a law unto their own OR do not have competent staff to handle financing enquiries. My first contact was with Ethan Von Schaeffer which started as far back as 23 February 2019. After ridiculous delays at around the 23 hour mark (apparently the staff have 24 hours to answer correspondence), a "delay mail" would come through. In one particular instance, he advised that the statements sent to him were not clear - these statements are off loaded from the ABSA banking website. Because it was a difficult and busy business period, I eventually told him to leave the application. When things had quietened down, I wrote a mail to the same person, advising that we should further proceed and also at the same time sent him more than he asked for in terms of supporting documentation - this was on 11 March 2019. Ethan Von Schiefer simply ignored the correspondence and never even had the decency to respond. Enter one Shaunn Schoeman, apparently the team leader. He mentioned that he will re-assign the case to Keren Scheepers. Again, no contact from anyone until calling behind the Keren chap mentioned and we start corresponding on 15 March 2019. Keren Scheepers apologized to me for the delay as the statements supp**** initially were clearly legible and he could not understand why Ethan Von Schaffer would have encountered a problem. Everything seemed to be proceeding normally UNTIL it became clear that the car to be purchased is registered in a Trust. All necessary documentation including signed resolutions by BOTH and only members of the Trust were supp**** to Keren Scheepers from WESBANK. Keren Scheepers, even after all the signed and legal resolutions have been submitted and the auditor advising that it is NOT a requirement by South African law that the Trust must have a bank account, Keren Scheepers insisted that they will not pay the money into the account as stated by the documents and resolutions submitted. A decision was then made by the seller, to transfer the vehicle in his capacity as the Trust representative into his own personal name to hopefully assist and solve the Keren Scheepers/WESBANK created problem. The next delay mail that came through from WESBANK, is that proof of payment for the vehicle between the Trust and the private individual had to be submitted as the successful license change over by the licensing office was done on the particular day. Obviously understanding ***** and it's related problems, Keren Scheepers/WESBANK are inventing delay mechanisms on a continuous basis to delay the sale of a legal asset. Well, here we are and hopefully someone a little more senior that can and will make decisions can get involved after this post on the site and hopefully resolve this very silly impasse. I am of the opinion that the said delays are a result of some staff working for WESBANK and not the company themselves. It is in my opinion poor interpretation of the rules by individuals.
