Vehicle held Hostage by Wesbank

Highly Disappointed in Wesbank!!! I have fully paid off my Vehicle in September this year (2023) and requested my Vehicle Registration Papers. After weeks I finally got a reply from Wesbank that my Registration Papers cannot be released as there is a "Mark on my Name" After more weeks of back and forth and threatening Legal action they still hold MY PROPERTY Hostage; and refuse to send me my Registration Papers. I finally managed to get through to the City of Cape Town Traffic Department, after more days of non-stop phoning all their numbers, when finally it transpired the so-called mark was from a something in 2020. Even the Traffic Department confirmed that Wesbank has absolutely NO RIGHT to withhold my papers. Within 30minutes from finally speaking to the right person the mark was removed from my Name. I still have no clue what I could have done to even get that Mark on my Name. I am now going to submit one last request to Wesbank and if I do not receive my Papers I WILL Take Legal Action and make this matter even more public than so far. I have been a loyal Customer and paid off several Vehicles even before the time and this is how they treat me? I Will NEVER again make use of WESBANK and I will strongly advise anyone to consider the same!
