Wesbank must be the shadiest asset finance company in the country. Was retrenched a few years back and fell into arrears. Was called last week and threatened repossession if I didn't pay R10k. The money was promptly paid. Now today, a week later, they called again and requested the full outstanding balance or the car will be repossessed. So in essence they take your payment a week earlier then still try reposses the vehicle the following week. It sounds like Wesbank also don't know what's happening as I'm dealing with 2 repo agencies and they both feed different story's and make their own rules and payment arrangements. I have just started full time employment again and when I contacted wesbank to make an arrangement to catch up they did not want to hear any of it. I also find it quite ********* that they are pushing so hard for repossession as I only have 10 months left on my agreement. Looks like they are looking for a big payday. Second time with wesbank for vehicle finance and I guarantee you it will be the last.
