I have purchase a vehicle in the year 2013 and wesbank financed my car. A few months later I got a call from a regent offering me a paintech policy and they said it will be an amount of about -+ R40.
they said that is will reflect on my vehicle statement as an amount every month. But what they did wants what I was told and wesbank paid regent the whole amount in full and added a finance charge around R3200 to the balance and charging me interest. I didn't give wesbank permission to pay out regent that amount and add any finance charges on my account. This is *****.
I want my money credited and also all interested that was charged.
people out there please beware of this. They are ripping people of.

Hello rohron,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

After listening to the calls recordings from the sale of the policy, we believe that you and your spouse were advised appropriately because the full cost of the policy was discussed (inclusive of all the packages available) as well as the premiums applicable thereto. The conditions were clarified at the point of sale and were later reconfirmed when the policy schedule was forwarded to the residential address provided whilst statements were sent on a monthly basis via email. We are therefore confident that due process was observed and that the Bank has acted in good faith by not only complying but also acting within the ambit of all the legal requirements. The payment that was made to the underwriter and the interest applicable to the secondary loan have not inflated your obligation beyond that which was contracted. Direct contact has been made to clarify the Bank's position.

We trust that this is in order and assure you of our best intentions at all times.

Yours faithfully,

WesBank
