UNAUTHORISED DEDUCTION

On 15 August I requeted a settlement quotation for my vehicle finance financed through Wesbank, which quotation was received on the 15th.

I then settled the amount on the 17th of August and provided all required to Wesbank to prove this. They aknowledged receipt of the payment and cancellation of the account and even requested details of where they may deliver my regsitration documents since the vehicle is to be transferred into my name due to settlement.

BUT THEN AT THE END OF AUGUST MY ACCOUNT WAS DEBITED WITH ANOTHER MONTHS PAYMENT? I SETTLED THE QUOTE IN FULL WHICH CLEARLY STATES IS THE AMOUNT OWING TO WESBANK TO PREMATURELY CANCEL MY CONTRACT WITH THEM!! WHICH SHOULD MEAN THEY ARE NO LONGER AUTHORISED TO DEBIT MY ACCOUNT!!!! (So i thougt)

I contact Wesbank to query the debit, the consultant couldnt really understand himself why there was a further debit nor could he advise why the debit was taken off. He just confirmed that he would esculate the query to the refunds department and that they should refund my account within 48 hours. Before we ended the call i did confirm with him if i do not receive a credit will someone contact me to explain to which he confirmed yes they would.

To date i have had no response to my email enquiries nor advise from the refunds department.
