Title: WesBank Not Assisting With Defective Vehicle Dispute, Refuses Payment Freeze & Leaves Me Paying for a Broken Car

My WesBank case number is CRSE9201.

I am requesting urgent intervention from WesBank due to an ongoing dispute involving a defective vehicle that is currently immobilised at VW Lindsay Saker East Rand. I have not had the car in my possession for weeks, yet I am still being forced to pay instalments, tracker, and insurance.

Key issues:

1. WesBank refuses to grant a temporary payment freeze, even though the vehicle is not in my possession and is standing at a VW workshop with a blown head gasket. 2. MiWay insurance stated they can assist with temporary relief, but only if WesBank provides written confirmation, which the Area Manager declined. 3. The dealership closed down shortly after the sale, leaving me without support and forcing me to drive with an expired permit and no licence disc for almost 3 months until WesBank arranged assistance through Juba Motors. 4. Serious concerns exist regarding undisclosed diagnostics, including a hidden VW job card found in the glovebox from VW Benoni Citi which the dealership never disclosed. 5. Two warranty claims were rejected by Motorite/MotorVantage, leaving me stuck with a defective vehicle. 6. I have acted in good faith and followed every instruction given by WesBank, yet I am told the bank “cannot assist because the asset is with a third party”.

I urgently request a proper escalation to senior management. I cannot continue paying for a defective, unusable car while no party takes accountability. I need a fair resolution, clear direction, and immediate assistance.

Thank you for the response. However, it is disappointing that my urgent emails regarding this ongoing dispute receive delayed replies of 3–5 business days, yet a public Hellopeter post gets an immediate response. I need the same urgency app**** to my direct communication, as this matter has been dragging for far too long.
