THE COMPUTER SAYS NO

I am an legal professional who did an internship in 2014 in order to register with my professional body. The rules of same preclude me from earning an income in this period and also would have affected my internal scoring with my bank - FNB. I have been practising since January 2015 and have need of a car which I app**** for though a dealer. I was told that the application was declined by Wesbank becuase of my internal scoring but I was given no reason for this. I am aware that there was a debit order that bounced in March but it can be explained. Yet, despite my best efforts I cannot get past a call centre agent to speak to person who does not just take instructions from a computer screen. I am a consumer and as such I have the right be to fully informed of any compromises on my credit rating, what they are and similarly be given an opportunity to address them. Despite these rights, I cannot access any person at Wesbank to tell me what the problem is and/or how I am able to address it. For obvious reasons I need a vehicle to do my work. I am customer of FNB and should thus have access to all its platforms.
