Telemarketing aimed at forcing you to buy products.

I recently bought a vehicle through Wesbank financing.

Not a week passed and they phoned me to sell me a scratch and dent etc. policy, another week further and I was phoned to sell me a credit protection plan, which should have been included in the first place.

Now another week further and I am phoned up to sell a full maintenance plan to me. I feel like I am being harassed and these sales calls will never stop. With this new add on it would have been nearly a R1000 per month more already on my repayment, so I refused the last sale.

Seriously, how much money does Wesbank think we have to add on more and more and more and more. Why are these items not offered at time of purchase. In stead they phone you to make you feel that you don't have in place what you should and to coerce you into buying more. If you ask for the information on mail before you will commit, that is not possible, you can cancel after, who wants the additional admin, most people will just leave it then and pay it.

I hate these telemarketing bullying tactics. I WILL NEVER AGAIN refer anyone to Wesbank and I used to be very happy with there service with my previous vehicle purchases (7 years ago).
