Taking you for a ride

I recently acquired vehicle finance through Wesbank, firsly when i told the dealer i would like to negotiate a better rate i was tald that the value of my loan was too little to negotiate a better rate. Secondly i said i would like to pay the vehicle off over 48 months but was also told that Wesbank wont do it for less than 72 months because once again the financed amount was too little. Clearly it is their intention to suck as much interest out of you as possible. Thirdly, i was offered scratch and dent protection which i accepted telephonically, only to find out that evening that my existing insurance covered this, the following day i sent them a notification to terminate this cover for two days got no response, day three or four a mail arrives stating my contract has been updated with this amount of the scratch and dent, i resond to the mail stating that i have already informed them to terminate only to get a response to say that they want a fully signed letter requesting temination with 30 days notice and some other details that they already have in their possession. This is unacceptable, they want a signed letter for termination yet nothing is signed on inception of the agreement. Im an FNB client and its things like this that make me polan to leave the institution
