Shocking service from Wesbank
On 10 September 2019 I submitted my request to change my banking details. Then I am notified that it takes wesbank 3 days to get back to you... Amazing service... After 3 days I am then told to fill in the forms attached and send them through and they will respond to me within 48 hours. 3 Working days later I decided let me just follow up and then I get another email stating they are not happy with my account confirmation so I then send them another one. Also making clear this is urgent. This morning I decide to follow up again, I mean payday is around the corner and they still haven't changed the banking details on my debit order... First time I phone he cant help me and attempts to put me through to Yolanda or Yoland Abraham, but instead he just put the phone down on me. So I phone again and the person was again not able to help me so I phone a 3rd time. This time I got transferred to a different department and eventually the lady was able to transfer me to Yoland Abraham, BUT seems like this person is on leave. In a desperate attempt to get this sorted before payday, I decided to send all the stuff AGAIN and said it was urgent, but no response. I decided to phone and find out, but then no one answered and I held on for quite a while. So Wesbank, this is my last attempt to get you to change my banking details, or you will be trying to take a debit order off a closed account. I feel like I have done my part. I will also not be held liable for any interest or fees or penalties because I did request my banking details to be changed well in advance.
