Shocking and expensive lack of service from Wesbank

I had a car that was financed with Wesbank. i finshed paying off my total debt in October. I then started calling them to find out the process of being sent or collecting the relevant transfer of ownership papers. Between emails and phonecalls i was not getting any clear direction.

Until on the 11th of December when i called aain and one of the agents on the phone told me i had an outstanding amount of R494.94, i settled it and waited to hear back. On the 11th of February when i called back again, because nobody was calling me still, i was told that i was supposed to pay an amount of R384.40, i asked them what the previous amount i paid was for, now that i needed to pay another amount and was not accepting this. I was then told to send the previous proof of payment along with my ID copy, two contact numbers and full address - again the first time i hear of this only because i called in to ask.

On the 10th of March i called once again and was kept on the line with the lady telling me i had used the wrong reference number and that was why there was no progress with my situation, she put me on hold for a long time, then came back to say "Oh sorry, you actually did use the right reference number" and i will begin to process your car transfer.

During this entire period Wesbank has never picked up the phone to update me on anything unless i make the call myself, spending my own airtime ad time and their fumbling around not knowing why the previous person didnt load or log whatever update? I am fed up, disappointed and offended by how i have been treated, it is such an achievement to be out of debt for anyone but especially myelf who is a freelance worker and would get up to 5 calls a day from Wesbank when i unfortunately defaulted on payment, so i know that their phones and ability to read to you their processes and write you letters and sms's is fully functional based on how i used to be called every hour on the hour to make payment arrangements. Now that i am proud to have gotten this far and don't owe them money, their systems are not clear, they don't call me anymore, they are fumbling and confused when i call. This has caused me great distress, i have felt disrespected but more over i have wasted so much money phoning and holding and and calling back over and over in the period of 5 months.

I sit here still with no form of communication from Wesbank on the matter aside from another telephonic promise made to me on the phone, which sounded exactly like the previous ones. I need proper assistance and my transfer papers please, that's all i want!

This matter is currently being handled with such a dismissive tone and deep disdain. So even I do get my document I want you to know this is not customer service and care I am currently receiving from you.

I am receiving proper disrespect in the lack of relationship that all the communication I am receiving is sounding. It is clear that there is no care for having me as a client or customer in the future, I am just another number in the long list of important things Wesbank would rather be doing.

All the best Wesbank and thank you HelloPeter for atleast helping me to get any attention from them as cold as it is.
