SETTLED ARREARS BUT THE ACCOUNT STILL IN LEGAL
My account was three months in arrears and Wesbank sent their agent to convince me to surrender the vehicle voluntarily of which I refused. I settled my account before summons were issued but my account is stuck on legal because they are awaiting Lawyers to invoice and thus debit my account. I am not certain as to what I will be paying for but I did not question that. I believe their argument that my account will be in arrears once the lawyers debit my account and that my account will be released from legal once the next installment is made is inadequate. I believe the main aim of the collections department is to frustrate the clients unnecessarily so. I cannot be held responsible for the invoice I am not aware of. What if there is no such invoice. I have been sent from pillar to post if I want to resolve this matter. For the record I was informed that legal action was halted 3 weeks ago when I called and the consultant I spoke was not certain as to whether summons were issued or not.
