Ridiculous Interest Rates
please note that I have only had the best of service from Wesbank since I bought my previous car but now that it has unfortunately been written off and paid out I am getting frustrated by the rates am receiving. I app**** for finance online and received pre approval. I then went to greyling motors inPTA who were adamant that they had to do their own application and once again received an approval through wesbank but what am concerned about is the 15% rate am receiving. I have tried calling wesbank to discuss the rate and am referred to the F&I person at the dealership who happens to be the sales person. something wrong there surely. Wesbank also told me to speak to the Wesbank marketer but they do not speak to customers directly which leaves me further stranded and somewhat convinced that whoever the wesbank marketer is and the dealership are working against my interests as a consumer.
I would like to deal with Wesbank directly to get to a personalized rate as you promise on your website. the 11% i had on my previous car was acceptable and I have kept my account up to date without missing a single payment.
Can anyone help here?
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.
Let us use this opportunity to apologise if you are under the impression that WesBank exercises any level of prejudice in the assessment of applications. Due diligence must be observed whilst we err on the side of caution because of the far reaching implications to be taken into account before asset based finance is considered.
In this instance, we mitigate the risk observed with an appropriate interest rate whilst we cannot extend the contract period beyond the same as seen on your respective permit.
We trust that this is in order and assure you of our best intentions at all times.
Yours sincerely,
WesBank
