Ridiculous interest on vehicle finance

Westbank is charging my mother a very ridiculous interest on her vehicle finance. She is currently a pensioner. The interest has been increasing rapidly and it has made the installment a lot higher than it should be. Their interest does not make sense at all. She is expected to finish the payments next year November but the balance amount is higher than the months left.
