Request not attended,refund still outstanding
I logged a request on 16/07/15 for insurance money ODP, that was being debited with my car instalment to be refunded as I do have comprehensive insurance. Submitted all the documents including my proof of insurance.A detailed report of my statement was also sent showing the amount of R304.67 that was taken over a period of 12 months (28/08/2013 - 28/07/2014 = R3656.04) and R197.18 which was the latest and was taken over a period of 11 months (28/08/2014 - 28/06/2015 = R2168.98 ). Moses Mananela then paid only R2168.98 into my account. I phoned numerous times to find out about the outstanding R3656.04 but have been sent from pillar to post and every time I call I have to explain the entire story over and over again. On 22 July I spoke to Nonku Luthuli regarding this and she emailed Moses and copied me in asking him to give me an update but to date I have heard nothing from him, even after emailing him myself on the 23rd. I then spoke to Imraan Mather who is a team leader or manager,on the 24th, he promised to follow this up for me and would call or email me.He even gave me a his tel number that's not working. To date,I have heard nothing from him. This is poor service from all levels!
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and let us use this opportunity to humbly apologise for the inconvenience you experienced as a result of our clerical oversight.
As a service driven organisation, WesBank goes to great lengths to render unsurpassed service excellence to all our valued customers. It is therefore extremely disappointing when we fall short of this goal. We can confirm that proof of your insurance was indeed received and that we have duly cancelled the Outstanding Debt Protection Policy that was added whilst simultaneously refunding ALL the premiums that were debited.
We hope that this matter was resolved to your satisfaction and that our efforts have gone someway towards restored your faith in WesBank.
Yours sincerely,
WesBank
