Repossession in 2011
My vehicle was repossessed in 2011 and sold to recover costs. Last year lawyers decided to sue me for the balance and once explained to them that I could not afford to make any payments, heard nothing. Then in January out of the blue, I get a phone call from Chantal Roberts to say that if I do not pay, she will have my house attached and sold to pay the outstanding balance (not even sure what the balance is by the way). I requested a statement, a reference number etc. to find out what is actually owing - still nothing!!! Did not hear from her again but received an SMS to say if I did not pay, she will hand it over to the lawyers - AGAIN????? <br> I think this is shocking service from Wesbank - first threatening me to attach my house, then threatening to hand me over the lawyers yet again for the same thing and then not even bothering to send a statement, letter nothing .....

We have not been able to make successful contact with you. We have nevertheless looked into the allegations made herein and confirmed that you were kept abreast throughout the proceedings whilst the last payment received from you was in July 2011. The legal action taken was in lieu of the breach of contract and in an effort to secure our interest as the lack of commitment to service the debt and to honour your obligation is apparent. The point of contention is therefore not service related but falls within our right to enforce the terms of the agreement.
Direct contact details have been provided to you and we implore you to cooperate with our recovery efforts to prevent the incurrence of further penalties.
