Repossessed and came back broken Gear

My car was repossessed by Wesbank in March 2017 and on the day I collected my car and drove about 10km to the salon.When done there going home the car lost power & didn't want to get into gears.Its had to be loaded on a flat bed truck to VW dealership.Wesbank took my car in working order but got a nightmare back.has anyone ever had this problem where you hand over a working car to Wesbank collection people and have your car come back broken requiring Repairs in region of R30 000 which doesn't guarantee that the problem will be solved.What happens to our cars when they are in their care?
