Reposesed vehicle while under debt review

I bought a vehicle in March 2016 and paid it religiously every month till I got into financial difficulties november2016 after buying a house. I went to a debt counsellor to before any arrears on my account and while in the debt review process (court postponed my case 3 times die to wesbank and fnb home loans wanting more money) my vehicle got reposesed. I offered to pay the full arrears and go back to the original instalments at the expense of other things I need to pay but wesbank refused and insisted that I pay the full outstanding amount which was over a R100000 plus 10700 for legal fees . Then only can i get my vehicle back. Why? When i never skipped a payment? When my debt counsellor got acceptance from wesbank and i was paying the amount the wanted why was it still reposesed?? Why? And then why make it so difficult for me to get it back? I bank with FNB my house is with FNB I'm a loyal client why are you forcing me to look at other banks when I was trying to find a way to make sure I keep paying my accounts? I must add that I purchased this vehicle without a licence at a ridiculous interest rate of 18% which is against the law but I was desperate to get a vehicle and my wife has a licence and we had insurance for it. This is how wesbank took advantage of me by overcharging me on interest and the repossesing the vehicle. I'm awaiting your response so I can escalate it to the relevant ombudsmen.

And to add car was reposesed on the 7th of September. But I was only given in till the 18th of September to pay the full balance of R110700 or car would be send to auction with a vallue of 50000 that wouldve left me with 60700 (if it sold for 50000) still to pay. When my actual outstanding ballance was 91000??? I paid the 110700 with the help of a family member but it was unreasonable after I offered to pay arrears and go back to original installment.

Typical, no response. Doesn't surprise me at all. They don't give a **** about their clients.
