Refund on Advance amount

I want to share my dissatisfaction towards Wesbank, after sending emails on numerous occasions regarding the advance amount on my statement . No one responded, and than I decided to phone them and enquire if I can make claim on the amount? The lady (Tumi) who deals with my account asked me who paid or is still paying the extra amount into the account. I told her that the debt review company does the payments to my credit providers.

But she didn't sound very helpful. All I wanted know is even though there's still an outstanding amount that I owe them. Why couldn't I make claim on the advance amount? It's still my money. She couldn't explain to me why there is an advance amount on the statement. It also increases each month with almost R400.00

I've forwarded my enquiry to my debt review company. The lady phoned me yesterday and informed me that she made contact with the bank (WesBank). They informed her there is still an outstanding amount that I owe on the vehicle. My responds to her was, "I know there's an outstanding amount on my account, but I'm not in arrears" And I want to make claim on the advance amount.

And if I cant claim that monies, someone needs to explain to me why? The banks are quick to phone you when you owe them, but if they have to reimburse you they have a lot of reason why they can't. If I don't get a satisfactory answer, I will take this matter further. And I don't want to hear these reasons, " There's still an outstanding amount"(The bank do get the instalment amount each month) OR "WesBank wants to keep the monies as a guarantee, so if I don't keep up with the payments you will take the monies from that advance amount" that's unacceptable.
