Re Wesbank Inefficiency - Ruining Lives

My husband has been trying to apply for finance for a vehicle, since his has been written off. However, WESBANK has not updated records with Transunion, therefore it’s still showing that he owes Wesbank for the car that was written off. My husband, Quinton Derrick Venter, physically went to Wesbank 19 May, and was advised that all is clear on Wesbank’s side, and the dealer applying for the finance is the problem, however, the dealer applying, is getting declined back from whomever is processing the claim.Since Wesbank was settled, every application processed, LOWERS his credit score, all because you, Wesbank, have not updated records. you can see it by lookibg at Credit report pulled 9th of May 2016 vs 19th May.

When the accident happened, we immediately called Wesbank, and were advised we shouldn't have a problem, seeing as my husband is already a Wesbank client, and once Insurance settles, it should be fine. But we've had nothing but pathetic service and mixed answers from Wesbank. He has not missed a single payment on his car, or insurance, and the Suritha Samson is basing her decision on a late payment on a Jet account, that was ARRANGED AND AGREED between my husband and Jet, not due to lack of funds, but due to lack of time to go to the store, to make the payment. I can PROVE that it was not due to lack of funds as I, his wife, have statements showing that lack of funds is not the case.

Now, due to Wesbank and Suritha Samson in particular, that u cannot get hold of, my husband stands to lose his job, he is a sales rep, and it affects him, myself (I cannot drive) and our two children.

Everytime my husband calls someone from Wesbank to ask, he gets different versions from different consultants, because you are not allowed to speak to Suritha Samson. Like she is the **** president's wife.

Even if Wesbank does not want to finance his new car, the fact that they have NOT updated Itc that they have been settled, means ANOTHER bank still sees that deal/debt on his record. So all in all, thanks to Wesbank, my SALES REP husband, cf annot finance a car.

I was also told WE need to prove to Wesbank that THEY haven't updated ITC before they can look at it. Pathetic!!!

In light of this, I will also be closing my cheque account with FNB, and moving to another bank.
