PATHETIC! DO NOT FINANCE WITH WESBANK!

I am an attorney and I have been trying to get hold of someone from Wesbank to assist me with having my client's vehicle released from judicial attachment. My client was prepared to pay the entire contract balance to settle the matter. The vehicle should never have been removed by the sheriff in the first place as my client had a recorded arrangement with Wesbank for a few month's "breathing period". After the breathing period my client continued with her payments as usual and never missed a single payment. My client received no notice of any proceedings whatsoever, not even a simple phone call.

I have been trying for TWO hours to try and speak to someone on Wesbank's bad debt department but it appears that EVERYONE is on leave. I tried to contact Wesbank's attorneys but they were closed. I called these attorneys' correspondent attorneys and they were also closed. EVEN THE MANAGERS at Wesbank's head office were on leave!!! I can't believe this business is still running. In the meantime my client remains liable for storage fees, interest and legal costs while Wesbank's personnel sit on the ****s.

BEWARE OF WESBANK, tomorrow they may just remove your vehicle as well without giving you prior notice or even the decency of a phone call. And if you want to settle the debt (i.e. PAY THEM MONEY) then good luck with getting hold of someone that can help you. Make sure you FINANCE WITH SOMEONE OTHER THAN WESBANK.
