Paris to Perth: Chasing them to pay them money
I owe Wesbank an outstanding instalment. My debit order was cancelled so I paid into the account manually.

i requested the bank to sort out the debit order issue as i would not like to set up a scheduled payment and be out of pocket when both go off. they did not reply to me, so i continued paying manually. However, due to the uncer*****y, the payments were always after the date of the initial debit order. It's been 3 months and still no resolution.

When i contact wesbank, they refer me to ColSol, when i contact ColSol they refer me to WesBank. In between all this are automated responses which are not conducive at all to solving the problem.

I love FNB as it is the best in the country and I have always been heard and had any issues sorted out within minutes. Now it seems Wesbank is dodging contact from me in order to increase its revenue in respect of late charges. This is unconscionable and totally unexpected from a division of FNB.

The issue is simple: You have the debt, I have the money, tell me how to get it to you every month as easy as possible!
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and affording us the opportunity to address your concerns.
You account has been referred to Collections Solutions, a Collection agency acting on behalf of WesBank, as the result of a longstanding breach of contract as the account is not paid in accordance with the terms of the finance agreement. Several attempts have been made to conclude a suitable arrangement after the debit orders returned unpaid, even deploying a field agent to try to locate you for recovery purposes, however these have not been successful whilst your email dated 2 April 2015 was received from an unrecognized or rather invalid email address; where you were requested to either contact the Bank or submit a signed letter for validation in order to maintain the security of the information we house. We also wish to highlight that the obligation to ensure that your creditors are able to communicate with you as and when needed rests with the consumer. The account is in an arrear position with 3 instalments currently for Jan, Feb and June 2015 however a manager will try to contact you once again to clarify our position.
Yours sincerely,
WesBank
