Paid up letter
Sold my Hilux bakkie privately on the 19th of May. Buyer financed the vehicle through Wesbank where I financed the vehicle. Buyer signed his paper work and i digitally signed the paperwork. Buyer took delivery of vehicle. After 4 days of constant phone calls and emails Wesbank paid me the difference between the selling price and the settlement amount.
Problem started when I tried to finance another vehicle. According to Wesbank my account for the Hilux is still open. Phoned the consultant and they say that the settlement amount they gave me was wrong. They in fact owed me more from the sale of the vehicle but couldn't close the account because my account didn't reflect a zero as a total. The lady (Linda) told me she would elevate my request. That was the was the 25th of May. I was forced to phone again after no action on the 2nd of June. Spoke to another lady (Dineo). She said she saw it was elevated and promised me my paid up letter by the end of bussiness. Today is the 3 rd of June. Spoke to another consultant (Simphwe). He says he sent a email to his superiors to request the account to be closed and the paid up letter to be issued.
This matter was elevated on the 25th of May. Why are the superiors not acting on this. I've already past two deals for vehicles because of this.
Is there nobody in Wesbank that has the initiative to pursue this. I'm not holding my breath that Simphwe will be any more effective than the rest.
Absolutely bad service from the word go. Waited 4 days to be paid after posting scathing report on Facebook somebody actually listened and I got payment.
How loud and long should I shout before I get my paid up letter?
