Outstanding Log Book

We purchased a vehicle in 2006 and said vehicle has been paid up many years ago. Have on numerous occasions requested the log book so that I can re register the said paid up vehicle onto my name but have not had any success. Unfortunately coming onto this platform is the last resort. We renew the car licence every year so this is up to date however we need the log book.
