OPD/shortfall policy a *******
we have been paying the shortfall policy for over 2 years now and recently encountered a problem ,instaead of them paying out they are taking us from pillar to post like we never had the policy. its been 6 weeks now since the claim and nothing has been done.

The processing of an insurance claim does not fall within the Bank's direct influence because according to our records, the insurer applicable herein deemed the vehicle repairable and you requested a reevaluation of the case. Furthermore, Outstanding Debt Protection is not the same as CoverPlus (shortfall protector) whilst both policies can only be claimed upon if the vehicle is written off. Direct contact has been made to provide clarity herein.
