No. We can't help you.

We've been with Wesbank for years, we've recently fell into hard times due to the fact that my husband is unemployed, we approached Wesbank asking for them to extend the contract for our vehicles for 3 months in order for us to get back on track, they don't do that. We asked if they could possibly freeze payments for a couple of months. They don't do that. What they DO do is give you a call to tell you that that you are in arrears for 2 instalments and they are coming to uplift your vehicles, no questions asked. All of the other institutions offer help during their clients time of need, Wesbank however does not, how utterly disappointing, you pay for years and they love you but don't you dare fall into hard times because they simply don’t care.

Thank you for the response, an arrangement was not made, my husband was told that he could pay R1700 on each vehcile for last month, that would keep the arrears at less than 2 months behind but once the amount gets to 2 months in arrears the vehcles will be uplifted. That is not an arrangement that is a delay. Nobody called him since then to offer a solution, surely it can't be in the best interests of the bank or the client.

Thank you very much for assisting us, the agreement you came to with my husband is something that will help us greatly. I must however suggest that you educate your agents, both call centre and in your HO to be more helpful and empathetic towards customers. Thank you once again.
