No tax invoice provided. Passing the buck to one of their affiliate companies

As expected, I now have no choice but to turn to social media, SARS’ call-centre, and the banking ombudsman to receive any kind of response from Wesbank and their affiliates.

I’ve been asking for this legal document since the 3rd of March. No resolution.

So be it.

Regards.

3rd of March 2021 “Good day

We recently financed the vehicle mentioned on the attached documents.

Your “combined tax invoice and credit note” shows a VAT amount of R44 172.59, whereas the original invoice from the dealership shows a VAT amount of R46 333.09. Your invoice does not show the R2 614.66 VAT on the R20 045.71 service plan, which was also financed as part of this arrangement.

Please send me an amended tax invoice so we can claim the rest of the input tax relating to this transaction – should be a total VAT claim of R46 787.25.

Thank you.
